As a solo female traveler, I wasn’t comfortable dining in since these types of cafés are usually just men.

El Villa is the hidden gem of Garden City, and it’s never busy whenever I go.
This café consists of a whole floor where each themed-room is filled with antiquites, books to read (mostly in Arabic), and vintage furniture.
What sets El Villa apart is its scenic rooftop, which is accessible from almost each room on the floor.
6. Gallery Haifa (جاليري حيفا)

Gallery Haifa is both, an art gallery and a coffee shop.
This combination creates such an inviting atmosphere allowing the customers to appreciate the art while sipping on a nice cup of coffee.

This coffee shop has exceptionally well-prepared and high quality coffee.
It’s also known for having one of the best breakfasts in Cairo, so that’s a two-in-one deal.

The legendary Egyptian singer, Umm Kulthum, often referred to as the “Star of the East”, is the inspiration behind this café.
Also, It’s been reported that she went there often.
